CMA's Valley Subaru donates blankets to UVA Cancer Center

CMA's Valley Subaru has donated more than 100 blankets and over 30 care kits for patients at the UVA Cancer Center Augusta location.

There were also handwritten notes from CMA employees and customers giving the patients some words of encouragement. Some notes featured messages stating, “Not all heroes wear capes”, “You’re amazing”, and “Stay strong”.

CMA's Carmen Hinton Wins National Video Contest

Congratulations to Carmen Hinton, Service Manager at CMA's Valley Subaru, on winning NADA's 2022 Women Driving Auto Retail video contest! Her win was announced at the NADA Show in Las Vegas. Watch this video to see our CEO, Liza, accepting the award on Carmen's behalf:

CMA Acquires Miller Auto Group

CMA is excited to announce the acquisition of Miller Auto Group, including two franchises in Winchester, VA, and three in Martinsburg, WV. With this acquisition, CMA will have 20 locations representing 18 new car brands and employing nearly 1,000 people.

Matt Walsh said he thinks ads by online used-vehicle retailers Carvana and Vroom are creative and funny.

CMA celebrated Earth Day 2021 by turning on a new solar energy system at CMA’s Valley CDJR in Staunton, VA. CMA was the first dealer group in Virginia to embrace solar energy, beginning in 2018 with CMA’s Colonial Nissan in Charlottesville where we built a one-of-a-kind solar superstructure atop our parking garage. Liza Borches Receives Top Chamber Honor for 2020

Liza Borches, president and CEO of Carter Myers Automotive, is the Charlottesville Regional Chamber of Commerce 2020 Business Leader of the Year.

When the COVID-19 pandemic slowed down business at Carter Myers Automotive dealerships, the business switched gears to help out community members. CMA created a community helpline and used their cars and staff to pick up groceries and medications or run other errands for people.
