Colonial Nissan to be First Solar-Powered Dealership in Virginia

 
Colonial Nissan has begun construction on a one-of-a-kind solar superstructure atop their building on Route 29 in Charlottesville. The unique project will have a roof consisting of 480 solar panels, which will produce over 214,000 kWh annually and will generate 93% of the electricity needed to power the dealership.

Colonial Honda Supports the ASK 5K and Fun Walk


Colonial Honda associates, family, and friends came together for the Ask Childhood Cancer Foundation 5k and Fun Walk. Our team was so enthusiastic cheering on the many Kourageous Kids that we won the Most Team Spirit award!

The event was a huge success, raising over $100,000. Every dollar raised stays right here in Central Virginia and supports local families with a child going through treatment and the hundreds of survivors working to move forward…

Colonial Hyundai Donates TV to Boys & Girls Club of Petersburg


One of CMA's Core Values is Community Involvement, and Colonial Hyundai recently got involved. The dealership had won a 60" TV in a Hyundai contest and rather than keep it for themselves, they donated it to the Boys and Girls Club of Petersburg.

The Colonial Hyundai team donated the TV, mount, cables, and their expertise to install everything. Some of our Managers also spent some time playing games and talking with the kids.

Colonial Subaru Donates Nearly $15,000 to FeedMore

 

Colonial Subaru presented a check for $14,902.01 to FeedMore, which helps nearly 200,000 children, families and seniors in Central Virginia who struggle with hunger. It's the second year in a row Colonial Subaru has chosen FeedMore as the local charity benefactor for our "Share the Love" campaign.

Big Anniversaries at Colonial Auto Center in Charlottesville

June 2017 marks two major anniversaries in Charlottesville. Bruce Fainter celebrates 30 years with our company. He started with CMA when we were still working out of an old building on Main Street in Charlottesville as Colonial Nissan Pontiac Cadillac and grew with us as we added (and subtracted) franchises. Bruce has worn many hats over the last 30 years and is now the Assistant Office Manager at Colonial Auto Center.
