VADA Donates $75,000 to Flood Victims


On August 24, VADA made a donation of $75,000 to Neighbors Loving Neighbors, a relief fund set up to help those affected by the June flooding of Greenbrier County, WV.

CMA is Proud to Support Meals on Wheels

CMA has just accepted a Meals on Wheels route in Charlottesville, Virginia. Every Monday CMA volunteers will deliver hot, nutritious meals to the ill, aging, and convalescing residents of the Charlottesville/Albemarle area who find it difficult or impossible to prepare meals for themselves.

Meals on Wheels is always looking for more volunteers! It only takes about an hour out of your day once a week, and makes a big difference in people's lives…

CMA is proud to support Women United, Together in Philanthropy by being a matching donor for their 2014 Human Services Grant Award Luncheon and an ongoing Corporate Member/Underwriter. CMA President and CEO, Liza Borches, is a Co-Founder. Women United has given 13 grants in 9 years to local non-profits serving women and children in the greater Charlottesville/Albemarle community. All of that has been accomplished through collective giving.

CMA Recognized by NADA Charitable Foundation

 In April 2013, NADA recognized CMA's work as Ambassadors of the National Automobile Dealers Charitable Foundation. Through this Foundation, CMA has awarded $26,500 in grants to organizations serving Central Virginia since 2003. This is in addition to all the other non-profits supported by our individual dealerships.

Blue Ridge Area Food Bank

 Valley Subaru of Staunton, in conjunction with Subaru of America and their Share the Love event, presented a check for $18,000 to the Blue Ridge Area Food Bank. BRAFB is the largest organization alleviating hunger in Western and Central Virginia. The money raised with Valley's Share the Love event will provide 72,000 meals to hungry families in our area!

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and some CMA stores joined the fight!
The Heritage Chevrolet team came out in full force for Making Strides Against Breast Cancer in Richmond. 32 employees and family members walked and spent the day raising awareness.

Valley Subaru Presents $15,000 to Shenandoah National Park Trust

 

Valley Subaru in Staunton, Virginia, just donated $15,000 to the Shenandoah National Park Trust. The money will go toward youth education programs in the national park.

The donation was part of Subaru's "Share the Love" event, where $250 from every new car sold between November and January goes towards a charity of the dealership's choice.
