Nearly 100 Years in Virginia

Carter Myers Automotive was founded as Petersburg Motor Company in 1924 in Petersburg, Virginia, by H. Carter Myers. Nearly 100 years later, Liza Myers Borches - representing the fourth generation of the Myers family - is our President and CEO.

CMA has a rich history in Virginia and in the automotive industry. What started as a single Ford dealership has expanded to include 24 dealerships throughout Virginia, West Virginia and North Carolina.

Talal El Oukaili Named GM of CMA's Colonial Hyundai

 

Effective January 1st, Talal El Oukaili was promoted to General Manager of Colonial Hyundai. Talal has been with CMA for almost ten years. He has an interesting story, having come to this country from Lebanon. He did not expect to end up in the auto industry, yet found his passion and excelled as a Finance Manager with CMA for many years before moving into his role as General Sales Manager.

CMA Donates to Local Pediatric Cancer Organizations

 

CMA took action during Pediatric Cancer Awareness Month by giving back to local organizations that support children and their families as the kids undergo cancer treatment. CMA has dealerships in five Virginia cities, and each region selected a local non-profit to support during the month of September.
