Nearly 100 Years in Virginia

Carter Myers Automotive was founded as Petersburg Motor Company in 1924 in Petersburg, Virginia, by H. Carter Myers. Nearly 100 years later, Liza Myers Borches - representing the fourth generation of the Myers family - is our President and CEO.

CMA has a rich history in Virginia and in the automotive industry. What started as a single Ford dealership has expanded to include 24 dealerships throughout Virginia, West Virginia and North Carolina.

United We Reach

Carter Myers Automotive is proud to support United Way's Self-Sufficiency Impact Area to help families with transportation needs. We have a matching program with our associates. CMA matches 50 cents for every dollar they donate to United Way, and that money is directed to self-sufficiency initiatives within the community. These funds may help someone in need purchase a newer or more reliable vehicle, cover repairs to vehicles, or cover gas or insurance costs.

Kourageous Kids Party for ASK Childhood Cancer Foundation

 

Sunday September 8th, CMA's Colonial Honda associates helped with the ASK Kourageous Kids Party held at the Children’s Museum of Richmond. Associates helped with set up, served dinner and clean up. This event is held each September as a part of Childhood Cancer Awareness Month. ASK kids and their families are invited to this party for food, crafts and fun.
