Nearly 100 Years in Virginia

Carter Myers Automotive was founded as Petersburg Motor Company in 1924 in Petersburg, Virginia, by H. Carter Myers. Nearly 100 years later, Liza Myers Borches - representing the fourth generation of the Myers family - is our President and CEO.

CMA has a rich history in Virginia and in the automotive industry. What started as a single Ford dealership has expanded to include 24 dealerships throughout Virginia, West Virginia and North Carolina.

Carter Myers Honored as Virginia's Time Magazine Dealer of the Year

Senator Creigh Deeds and Delegate David Toscano joined members of the Virginia Automobile Dealers Association in honoring Carter Myers as Virginia's Time Magazine Dealer of the Year.
