After several months without representation in Staunton, Waynesboro and surrounding communities, Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) has selected Carter Myers Automotive (CMA) to sell and service new and certified pre-owned Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep and RAM vehicles. Operating under the name “CMA's Valley Chrysler Dodge Jeep RAM,” CMA will open the dealership with these four automotive brands at 320 Lee Jackson Highway in Staunton.
CMA's Valley Chrysler Dodge Jeep RAM will join CMA’s four existing Valley operations: CMA's Valley Honda, CMA's Valley Nissan, CMA's Valley Subaru and CMA's Valley Volkswagen, on the south edge of Staunton. This configuration creates a unique “auto-mall” type destination right off routes 64 and 81, making it convenient for customers from Charlottesville, Harrisonburg, Lexington, and most of Central Virginia.
“We’ve been a part of the Staunton community for about six years and are extremely excited by the opportunity to sell and service a whole lot of Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep and RAM vehicles” says Scott Simons, Managing Partner/GM of CMA's Valley dealerships. “We know the Valley. We know the people that work and live here. And we know that many of the owners of these great brands have not had a convenient place to service their cars in the last six months. I can tell you that they do now.”
In order to serve the community very quickly, CMA's Valley Chrysler Dodge Jeep RAM will initially be housed in an existing automotive facility with dedicated and factory trained service technicians and salespeople. CMA will immediately begin plans to design a state of the art automotive facility located on the same property.
“We are truly enthused to be awarded these great and iconic franchises. Our immediate goal will be to build upon the legacy built over the years by the Elliott family with these great brands.” says CMA President and CEO, Liza Borches. “To do that, we intend to deliver on the promise of outstanding customer care so that it matches the quality of the outstanding products. The products that FCA has currently, along with the innovative new models slated to arrive very soon, will all be very well received by the car-buying public in Central and Western Virginia.”
Initially employing 20 people and then growing as business expands, CMA's Valley Chrysler Dodge Jeep RAM is in the process of renovating the current structure and plans to be open in the early part of August with more than 100 vehicles to be on hand at the time of opening.
