The annual VADA Family Convention was to be held at the Greenbrier Resort from June 26 - 29, when massive amounts of rain led to devastating flooding in Greenbrier County, WV. With the resort unable to host any parties, VADA, whose immediate concern was for the people whom the floods affected, knew that they had a unique opportunity to help out an entire region of people.
VADA asked its Convention Sponsors and attendees to consider donating their registration fees and sponsorship dollars to Neighbors Loving Neighbors in lieu of a direct refund.
The response was overwhelming, and through the generosity of convention sponsors and VADA Members, including CMA, $75,000 was raised to donate to the people of West Virginia.
