The Charlottesville Regional Chamber of Commerce honored Carter Myers Automotive with the Hovey S. Dabney Corporate Citizenship Award at the annual Chamber luncheon. This is a national honor awarded by Automotive News and Liza's first time on the list. In addition to being selected from among hundreds of nominees, Liza was also interviewed about how the "Great Recession" has shaped the auto industry.

Carter Myers Automotive is pleased to announced the acquisition of Staunton Nissan and Staunton Subaru. The two new stores will now operate as Valley Nissan and Valley Subaru, respectively, and are located across the street from two other CMA stores, Valley Honda and Valley Volkswagen in Staunton, Virginia.

With this acquisition, CMA now represents 13 new car brands in 11 locations and employs over 450 people in Central Virginia.
