​Some of our Charlottesville team visited the Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Virginia – Albemarle Campus Club! 

We believe that every child deserves the opportunity to experience the joy of pedaling their way to new horizons! This year, we were able to donate 79 bikes, 31 helmets, and $5,000 to the Toy Lift! So many lives will be moved forward this holiday season thanks to CMA’s commitment to serving their local communities!

CMA’s Charlottesville campus hosted a Trunk or Treat event for our community. Families and volunteers came dressed for the occasion and had a spook-tacular time! A huge ‘Thank You’ is deserved to everyone who was involved in the planning, set up, and cleanup of the event! It would not have been possible without everyone’s contributions!

Our Quarter Two initiative, #Cars&Cans, helps provide canned goods to our local bank to distribute to families during the summer months. Summer is a tough season on food banks as they receive the least amount of donations and schools are out for break. Many families who relied on the free breakfast and lunch during the school year now have to take on that added responsibility. To promote more engagement, our dealerships created structures out of the can donations!

On September 20, 2023, CMA’s Charlottesville campus had the opportunity to give back to their community during United Way’s Day of Caring. CMA participated by helping Project Linus make security blankets for children 0-18 who are seriously ill, traumatized, or otherwise in need. Project Linus has chapters in every state, so the blankets we helped make will be distributed locally! This was a great hands-on opportunity for our campus to give back!

Our Charlottesville campus was able to collect 3,338 items to donate to Mountain View Elementary school during our First Quarter #GearedUpForLearning campaign this year! Items included glue sticks, composition notebooks, tissues, Clorox wipes, backpacks, etc. There was a big request for snacks for the Nurse’s office due to a high volume of students going every month to get something to eat.

Thank you to everyone for your efforts to make our annual Cars and Cans food drive campaign a success! Overall, we were able to donate 9,770 meals to our local communities! What an amazing accomplishment we were able to achieve! Thank you for helping us Move Lives Forward in our communities!

Every year the Northern VA Daily newspaper partners with the local schools to have them design an ad. CMA’s Martinsburg and Winchester dealerships have participated with this program for the last 6+ years. This year they chose to highlight the makes sold at the Winchester and Martinsburg locations, along with the website, with the goal being to get people in the community to start recognizing the CMA name and associating us with those brands.

Carter Myers Automotive is so proud to partner with UVA Athletics to support the UVA Children's Hospital this holiday season! During the Dec. 3 basketball game UVA & CMA were able to donate hundreds of teddy bears during the Teddy Bear Takeover to donate to kids in the hospital.
